Rado breaks record at three tracks
Veteran racer Chris Rado of WORLD Racing broke the Unlimited FWD record at the Super Lap Battle finals on Nov. 11, with a time of 1.49.703.  Rado ran his Scion tC on Continental tires, the first result of a new strategic alliance between Continental Tire and Hoosier Racing Tire.  The previous record was set by GM and stood for five years, but Rado beat that by 1.615 seconds, making his the first FWD car to run under 1.50 at Buttonwillow.
