NEWPORT BEACH, CA3dCarbon was awarded Ford Design’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design for its all-new 2009 Ford Flex styling at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV. The 2009 “Euro Series” Ford Flex 11-piece styling kit is the embodiment of European aerodynamics fused with American hot rod styling. This bold, dynamic styling transforms the Flex into a true hot rod inspired European touring vehicle which exudes confidence and street presence. The styling kit features 3dCarbon’s trademark bold, aerodynamic styling with an OEM fit and finish.

The 3dCarbon Flex “Euro Series” show vehicle was displayed with the all-new 11-piece 3dCarbon Flex body kit. The styling kit includes a front air dam, right and left 4-piece side skirts, rear lower skirt, and upper roof spoiler. The Flex was also equipped with 3dCarbon’s black chrome front upper and lower grilles and Series 4 chrome fender vents. The show vehicle also featured a carbon fiber roof, mirror covers, and rear door panel by Race Skinz. The interior was outfitted in a custom leather Katzkin interior with carbon fiber inserts and white stitching. The headrests were equipped with Invision headrest monitors and the dash had a carbon fiber insert by Race Skinz. The windows, headlights and taillights were tinted with a smoke finish by
Sundial. The chassis was modified with a 1” drop with Eibach suspension springs. The Flex was shown with NC Forged “NC FIVE” 24” 3-piece aluminum wheels and Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires.

3dCarbon’s ’09 Flex, along with their Ford Focus Coupe and Lincoln MKS styling kits, was showcased in Ford Motor Company’s SEMA Booth November 4th through 7th. Ford has not only chosen 3dCarbon as the manufacturer for their official Ford- licensed body kits and accessories, they have also bestowed the SEMA “Best in Show” honors to 3dCarbon 3 times within the past 4 years. At the 2008 SEMA Show, 3dCarbon was awarded the Special Recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Design Award for their work on the Ford Flex and Lincoln MKS.

The 2009 Ford Flex styling kit, along with all of 3dCarbon’s body kits and accessories, are manufactured in OEM quality high-pressure injection molded polyurethane. The kit requires prep and painting prior to installation. All of 3dCarbon’s products are backed by 3dCarbon’s factory-matching warranty for complete customer satisfaction.
