No industry is tied to technology more than the auto industry. Cars are defined by their gadgetry, their horsepower and, especially today, their miles per gallon. It's an evolution that began with the advent of the internal combustion engine (or even before), and not only is it not slowing down, but the adaption of the automobile is occurring faster than ever.
